Dr. Adam Cirlincione completed his undergraduate studies at Binghamton University in New York. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at The New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he was one of the top students in his class earning high honors. Dr. Cirlincione then completed one year of Primary Podiatric residency training at Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens and then on to the highly regarded Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh for three years of intensive surgical training in all aspects of foot, ankle, and lower leg surgery.
While at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital he was chief resident and was a student of some of the most highly regarded foot and ankle surgeons in the country. To complete his training Dr. Cirlincione participated in a European Fellowship with multiple orthopedic foot and ankle surgeons. There he performed the very first triple Arthrodesis at St. Josef Hospital in Bochum – Linden, Germany with the Chief of Foot Surgery, Dr. Oda Rink-Brune. Following his time in Europe, Dr. Cirlincione went on to participate in a private practice.
Dr. Cirlincione is currently Board Certified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He routinely lectures to residents and fellow podiatrists and is the author of numerous published articles. His interests include reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and trauma of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Cirlincione now practices in the Midtown and Union Square locations of Midtown Podiatry and also at North Shore Foot and Ankle in Glen Cove N.Y. Dr. Cirlincione along with Dr. Doolan has performed the first ever, Wright Medical In-Bone, Ankle replacement at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, N.J. He is currently the on site residency coordinator for the North Shore/ LIJ Hospital podiatry residents where he actively continues to teach. Dr. Cirlincione has traveled to the Philippines to be a part of a medical mission serving those in need. He is the father of 3 boys; Lucas, Samuel and Charlie and the husband of Rachel.
